Ένας μήνας έμεινε μέχρι την εκκίνηση του φετινού αγώνα ISDE στην Φινλανδία και η οργάνωση ανακοίνωσε τις συμμετοχές που και φέτος κυμαίνονται σε χαμηλό όριο, ίσως λόγω της γενικής κρίσης αλλά και του γεγονότος πως η Φινλανδία είναι σχετικά ακριβή χώρα. Οι 365 συμμετέχοντες θα βρεθούν στην εκκίνηση την Δευτέρα 08 Αυγούστου και θα διαγωνιστούν 15 ομάδες Trophy Team. Μεγάλοι απόντες οι κυρίαρχοι Γάλλοι, οι διεθνείς Γάλλοι τιμωρούν την Γαλλική ομοσπονδία για οικονομικούς λόγους κυρίως!

Μετά την εξέλιξη αυτή οι Φινλανδοί έχουν την μεγάλη ευκαιρία να επιστρέψουν στην κορυφή, ενώ και οι Ισπανοί παρατάσουν ενδιαφέρουσα ομάδα με όλους τους “παγκόσμιους” αθλητές, κόντρα στους πάντα φιλόδοξους Αμερικάνους. Προβλήματα για τους Ιταλούς που έχουν ξεμείνει από κορυφαίους αθλητές, παρουσιάζοντας μια ομάδα έκπληξη.


Ανακοινώθηκε ο ειδικός κανονισμός για τον φετινό αγώνα International Six Days Enduro, που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στη Φινλανδία, μεταξύ δυο πόλεων Kotka και Hamina 8 έως 13 Αυγούστου. Η οργάνωση έχει δεχθεί προ-συμμετοχές μέχρι και 15 Φεβρουαρίου και θα τις ανακοινώσει στις 28 Φεβρουαρίου. Το κόστος φέτος κυμαίνεται στα 570 ευρώ (πληρωμή μέχρι και 22 Ιουνίου).

O αγώνας φέτος θα δεχθεί μάξιμουμ 400 συμμετοχές, με 1536 συνολικά χιλιόμετρα.

1. OPENING HOURS OF THE ISDE SECRETARIAT:
ISDE Secretariat will be open for the period from the August 1st till August 6th, 2011, from 9.00 to 19.00. After August 6th, working hours will be announced at the entrance of the Secretariat.

2. ENTRIES:
The National Federations must send the Preliminary entry forms to the organiser between January 1st and February 15th 2011. The organiser will announce, by February 28th, 2011, the number of teams accepted by country. The final entry forms with the teams, name, class, motorcycle, frame number, and registration number plate, must be provided by the closing date of entries, June 22nd, 2011 in order for your entry to be accepted. The entry fee per rider is 570.00 Euros (Art. 061.34) and must be paid at the latest by June 22nd, 2011. The maximum number of entries is 400. A copy of the Acknowledgement and agreement of the FIM Anti Doping Code (enclosed) dully signed by each rider with the confirmation from his FMN will be required at the time of the Administrative Inspection. In order for the official application form to be valid, it must be sent to the organiser with confirmation of the payment of the enquired fee for the specified rider (full name). An entry without confirmation of the payment will not be accepted.

3. STANDS FOR HOLDERS OF FIM LICENCES FOR MANUFACTURES
The holders of FIM licenses for manufactures and accessories, who are interested in having stands in the paddock area, must submit an application in accordance with FIM rules, stating the dimensions of the required area. These applications must be submitted to the ISDE Secretariat by May 8th, 2011. From this date onwards the organiser can manage this area and may lease it to other interested parties.

4. PRESS CENTRE
Preliminary accreditations made on the organiser’s form must be submitted to the ISDE Secretariat by May 8th, 2011.

6. PADDOCK (ISDE CENTER):
The Paddock of the 86th ISDE will be at the area of Maritime Centre Vellamo, Kotka City Port, in the city centre.
Paddock will be open from August 2nd, 2011 from 12.00 am. The number of cars allowed to enter the Paddock will be limited. The Paddock will be closed for vehicles effective as from August 8th to August 12th 2011 from 9.00 until 19.00.

7. PARC FERME:
The Parc Ferme of the 86th ISDE will be at the Maritime Centre Vellamo.

8. ADMINISTRATIVE INSPECTION:
The administrative inspection will take place in the administrative centre of ISDE situated at the start and the finish of the ISDE at Maritime Centre Vellamo. Before the administrative inspection all Delegates and Team managers are required to undergo an accreditation at the ISDE Secretariat by August 4th, 2010 by 18.00 the latest.
The administrative inspection will take place on:
• August 4th, 2011: From 9.00 to 19.00
• August 5th, 2011: From 9.00 to 19.00

The timetables of the Administrative and Technical Inspection for each country will be posted at the ISDE Secretariat on August 1st, 2011 at 13.00 and entered into the official website of the event. Requirements and documents needed for Administrative Inspection:
• FIM license prescribed for given type of event
• valid driving license
• passport
• confirmation of payment of entry fee
• signed acknowledgement and agreement of the FIM Anti-doping code form
• filled organisers form which will be given during the accreditation

9. TECHNICAL INSPECTION:
It will take place at the Parc Ferme in the Parking Lot of the Maritime Centre Vellamo:
• August 4th, 2011: From 13.00 to 19.00
• August 5th, 2011: From 09.00 to 19.00
• August 6th, 2011: From 09.00 to 13.00

Requirements and documents needed for Technical Inspection:
• The organisers form filled out correctly.
• Motorcycles according to Article 061.41, 061.42, 061.43 and 061.44.
• The original registration card (with frame number) of the bike and number plate.
• Green card or similar certificate of international motor vehicle liability insurance valid in Finland. Without valid insurance certificate the organiser requires temporary Finnish registration with insurance for the bike
• Helmets, according to Article 01.69 and 01.70 of the FIM Enduro Technical Rules. The helmets for riders of the Trophy, Junior Trophy Teams and Women´s Cup must comply with Article 01.73 of the FIM Enduro Technical Rules and Article 60.6 of the FIM Sporting Code.

10. CLASSES
Enduro 1: from 100cc to 125cc 2-Stroke and from 175cc to 250cc 4-Stroke
Enduro 2: from 175cc to 250cc 2-Stroke and from 290cc to 450cc 4-Stroke
Enduro 3: from 290cc to 500cc 2-Stroke and from 475cc to 650cc 4-Stroke

11. PRACTICE AREA
The Practice area of the 86th ISDE will be close to Kotka. It will be open from August 2nd , 2011.

12. ACCESS TO WORKING AREA
Compliant with Article 061.54.5 and for the following persons:
• 2 persons for every Trophy team
• 1 person for every Junior Trophy team and Club team
• The Clerk of the Course will take decisions in other exceptional cases
• Accredited TV crews and photojournalists (passes will be available at the Press Centre)
• International Jury and FMN Delegates

13. ADVERTISING
The placing of banners, balloons, boards, flags etc., at the ISDE Secretariat, Paddock, parking places, special tests, official route and other places related to event is strictly forbidden without the organiser’s written permission.

14. ENVIRONMENT
Every rider must respect the provisions of the FIM Rules for Environment and must be equipped with protective mat under his motorcycle.

15. NUMBER PLATES AND STARTING ORDER
Number plates and starting order according to FIM regulations. Advertising on the number background is reserved for the organiser. Every rider must declare that he has been informed of this obligation and that he agrees to the use of the signage provided by the organiser during the competition. On the number background there will be the starting number together with the logos of the partners of the ISDE 2011.

16. THE OPENING OF THE ISDE
The opening ceremony of the 86th ISDE will take place at 19.00 on Saturday, August 6th, 2011, at downtown Hamina Bastion. The organiser will give precise instructions for the nation’s parade and activities during the ceremony.

17. THE START
The start commence each day at 9.00 in the Paddock area at Maritime Centre Vellamo. The start will take place in accordance to the provisions of Article 061.57 of the FIM ISDE Regulations.

18. THE COURSE
The total length of the course, including the special tests, is approximately 1536 km.
Day 1/2: Length of course approximately 297 km each day. 2 laps, including 3 time checks and 4 special tests per lap. 3 service places per lap (of which one will be attended twice per lap), excluding paddock.
Day 3: Length of course approximately 238 km. 1 lap including 3 time checks and 6 special tests. 5 service places per lap, excluding paddock.
Day 4/5: Length of course approximately 332 km each day. 2 laps including 3 time checks and 3 special tests per lap. 4 service places per lap, excluding paddock.
Day 6: Length of course approximately 40 km. 2 time checks and the final test at the Karhula MX track.

19. SECURITY OF THE TRACK AND SPECIAL TESTS
The venues and tracks of the special tests will be posted on the official board at the Secretary of the contest, on Thursday, August 4th, 2011.

20. INSPECTION OF THE TRACK
According to the Article 061.68 of the FIM ISDE Regulations, pre-riders of each FMN whose riders have been accepted must send their names to the Secretariat of the ISDE 2011 and the FIM, 15 days before the event, to have the opportunity to inspect the track on the following dates:
• August 4th, 2011 – Days 1/2
• August 5th, 2011 – Days 3/6
• August 6th, 2011 – Days 4/5
All bikes participating in the pre-riding of the track must pass technical inspection and be properly registered with valid motor vehicle liability insurance. Pre-riding without the permission of the ISDE 2011 organisers is forbidden.

21. PENALIZATION OF RIDERS
The penalties for riders will be applied according to the Article 061.88 of the FIM ISDE regulations.

22. HIGHWAY CODE FOR OPERATION ON PRIVATE HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC ROADS
All riders and participants in the contest must respect the National traffic code for operation on all public and private roads and road crossings. They must conform to all instructions that are given by the traffic marshals and management. Note that it is mandatory in Finland to keep headlights on all the time, even during daylight. A rider failing to observe this instruction may be disqualified from the contest.

23. ORGANISATION AND SAFEGUARDING OF THE MOVEMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES.
Closed separate parking areas are reserved for Jury, Press, VIP, Officials and the Teams. Parking badges and instructions will be assigned during accreditation. Arrivals and departures of vehicles will be checked. The movement of riders who are starting in the contest is organised in accordance to the FIM ISDE Regulations.

24. FUEL AND TYRES
All fuel used must be in conformity with the wording of Article 01.63 of the FIM Technical Regulations for Enduro. All tyres used on the competition motorcycles must be in accordance with the wording of Article 01.51 of the FIM Technical Regulations for Enduro.

25. BIBS AND STARTING NUMBERS OF RIDERS
Organisation will provide each rider with a bib containing his starting number and organisation’s partners logos which every rider must agree to wear in the course of the final test.

26. INTERPRETATION OF REGULATIONS AND RULES
The interpretation of the FIM regulations and rules for ISDE and of the Supplementary Regulations approved for this event is in the competency of the International Jury approved by the FIM for this event. The Jury may also deal with all matters which are not referred to in these regulations and rules.

27. MEETINGS OF THE JURY
The meetings of the Jury will take place in a room inside Maritime Centre Vellamo. The first meeting will take place on August 3rd, 2011 at 17.00. The timetable of further meetings of the Jury will be determined by its President and will be posted on the official notice board.

28. THE CLOSING CEREMONY AND PRESENTATION OF PRIZES
The closing ceremony will be held at Maritime Centre Vellamo.

29. INSURANCE
The insurance of participants is regulated by the provisions of Article 110.1.1 and 110.3 of FIM Sporting Code and Article 061.65 of the FIM ISDE Regulations.
